Handbook amendments

This handbook can be updated to reflect changing circumstances. Changes follow a structured process to maintain governance clarity.

Amendment process

1. Proposed change submitted to Secretary with rationale
2. Committee reviews and discusses at a meeting
3. Committee votes on the amendment
4. Approved amendments documented with effective date
5. Members notified of changes via email
6. Updated handbook published on BPNZ website
7. All versions archived for reference

What cannot be changed here

Changes to the Constitution must follow the special resolution process in the Constitution itself, not this handbook. Handbook amendments must not contradict the Constitution.
